YOUR IMPACT In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring our organization’s compliance with international data protection regulations and supporting our digital transformation initiatives. You will: - Advise MSC and its subsidiaries globally on data protection matters across jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws. - Monitor regulatory developments, evaluate their implications for business operations and proactively report potential legal risks to Management and the Group General Counsel. - Draft, review, and negotiate data protection agreements. - Conduct regular reviews of MSC’s data protection governance framework, including the development and global oversight of standards, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with applicable legal requirements. - Advise and support on international data transfers, including regulatory requirements, and transfer mechanisms. - Provide legal support for digital initiatives, including projects involving artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. - Work closely with IT and cybersecurity teams to support legal compliance. - Coordinate with external legal counsels, as needed. - Conduct internal training and awareness sessions on data protection and confidentiality.
