Civil Drafter/ BIM Technician

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Drafter / BIM Technician to support the development, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure designs for marine container terminal projects. The role will focus on producing high-quality civil engineering drawings, layouts, technical details, and coordinated design packages, while supporting BIM coordination, model review, clash identification, and information management across different project phases. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with civil engineers, project managers, external consultants, contractors and other technical disciplines to ensure that drawings and models are accurate, well-coordinated, compliant with project requirements, and suitable for decision-making, tendering, construction, and handover. Your responsibilities will include: Drafting Design Documentation Prepare and update civil engineering drawings, layouts, sections, details, and technical plans for infrastructure projects, Develop drawings for container terminals, port infrastructure, yard layouts, roads, pavements, drainage, utilities, earthworks, building interfaces, and marine/civil structures where applicable, Convert engineering sketches, mark-ups, survey data, and design inputs into clear and accurate CAD drawings, Ensure drawings are complete, properly referenced, dimensioned, coordinated, and aligned with company standards. BIM Coordination Support BIM coordination activities across civil engineering, structural, MEP, utilities, and equipment disciplines, Review and coordinate BIM models received from consultants, designers, contractors, and other project stakeholders, Assist in federating discipline models into a coordinated project model for design reviews and coordination meetings, Identify and report model coordination issues, clashes, inconsistencies, missing information, and interface risks, Prepare model views, screenshots, mark-ups, issue logs, and coordination reports to support technical reviews and decision-making, Support the extraction of quantities, dimensions, levels, coordinates, and other relevant information from BIM models, where required, Provide limited model editing or minor updates where required, while the primary responsibility remains BIM coordination, review, and information management rather than full model authoring, Develop and maintain libraries of models and parametric objects for use in various projects. Ensure objects are detailed, accurate, and adaptable to different project requirements and specifications. Project Information Coordination ACC Quality Control Support the organization, control, and maintenance of project information using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) as the central document repository for TIL projects, Monitor the use of ACC by consultants, designers, and contractors to help ensure that project information is submitted, organized, reviewed, and updated in accordance with agreed project requirements, Support TIL internal teams in accessing, reviewing, and tracking the latest project information within ACC, Contribute to improving TIL’s internal ACC workflows, information quality checklists, BIM coordination procedures, and project review processes.
