Data Governance Specialist

JOB SUMMARY
Cleans the commercial database and ensures the new entries comply with the data governance guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Is in charge with data cleaning for the commercial database:
- Verifies and updates existing records from the database.
- Checks the accuracy and completeness of data recorded in the system.
- Resolves data inaccuracies and inconsistencies, based on the data governance guidelines.
- Receives and processes the requests from internal customers (e.g. Sales department):
- Creates new entries in the commercial database, according to best practices and policies.
- Records requests submitted by the business and follows up on actions.
- Escalates the requests which are too complex and / or unique to the Assistant Manager / Manager
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES / EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Analytical: fundamental
