Job Description
The Quality and Referral Specialist reports to the Manager, Call Center Operations. Under limited supervision, the Quality and Referral Specialist serves as an access concierge both internally and externally to positively impact the MUSC Health Brand. For all external affiliate programs and internal partners, this position serves as the primary communication contact for referring offices regarding their patient’s referrals. In an effort to meet and exceed affiliate expectations, this position monitors data related to patient referrals and creates consistent reporting communication to send to external partners along with MUSC Health Leaders. The role serves as a subject matter expert, resource, and trainer to all parties within the Patient Access Center. This includes, but is not limited to, side-by-side training, call auditing, and development of auditing and training tools aimed at enhancing the MUSC Health Patient Access Center's overall service and operational performance. The Quality and Referral Specialist partners with Team Leads to identify policies and processes which act as barriers to partner’s access to help the overall Patient Access Center and the practices which are supported by the center.
