Job Description
Under general supervision, the Generalist will assist HIS Leadership in supporting the mission of the department to ensure the security, accuracy, integrity, & accessibility of personal health information. Responsible for providing complex support within HIS by acting as a Generalist that is cross-trained to cover different roles and functions.

Requirements: Education/Skills/Work Experience:
High school graduate with at least 3 years of work experience in general office duties or an administrative support role. At least three years of generalized computer and medical records experience preferred. May substitute a college degree in health information management or related field for general work and medical record experience. Must be flexible, goal oriented and able to work with a team, as well as independently. Must be detail oriented; must have strong communication skills both verbal and written with all levels of customers. Knowledge of Epic computer system and other HIM technology is preferred.
