Job Description Summary
The Ashley River Tower Emergency Department Unit Secretary will provide support to Emergency Department Care Team Members, patients and visitors. Such support will include, but is not limited to, answering telephones, call lights, assisting with way finding and discharge callbacks. In addition, the Unit Secretary will support the ED charge nurse with clerical duties to include: printing patient health information/Clinical Forms, ordering supplies, transferring phone calls and taking messages.Entity

Job Description
This is a full time position consisting of 3 12 hour shifts. This position includes rotating weekend days, and the shift is from 11am to 11pm. Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Job Description
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Work Experience: None. Certification: Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire. Thereafter, must maintain. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
