Job Description Summary
The Chief Accounting Officer will directly report to Health System Chief Financial Officer and will serve as a peer to the Chief Revenue Cycle Officer, Chief Supply Chain Officer, and Chief of Payer Relations and Reimbursement. This key leader is responsible for overseeing the newly created centralized finance model to include payroll, treasury, tax, and accounting across the system. The Chief Accounting Officer will be self-directed, possess a CPA, and have strong leadership experience to mentor and develop a team of approximately 45 FTE's in a fast-paced and growing environment.Entity

Job Description
Leads and directs an organization's accounting functions. Establishes and maintains the organization's overall accounting systems, procedures, and policies. Directs all analysis and reporting of financial information including budgets, planning, and required filings and reports. Presents findings and recommendations to management. Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact.
