Job Description Summary
The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor of CT and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary.Entity

Job Description
Utilize all CT resources to perform high quality CT examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician.
Additional Job Description
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.
Required Registration/Certification:
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
- ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
- Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
