Job Description Summary
The MUSC Foundation, supporting the Medical University of South Carolina and its hospital authority, is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to assist the Controller in managing the disbursement cycle and related activities. The Foundation manages approximately $800 million in assets and promotes education, research, and clinical initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, with accounts payable experience and strong data entry and communication skills. Responsibilities include processing disbursements, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and internal policies, managing the credit card program, supporting financial reporting, maintaining vendor records, evaluating taxability and 1099 requirements, and assisting with audits, payroll tax activities, and special projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge and non-profit accounting are preferred.Entity
