Job Description Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student worker to assist with the migration of course content in Brightspace. This role involves transferring and formatting text, graphics, layout, and instructional activities under the direct supervision of the Director of Education and IT. The successful candidate will coordinate with faculty and the instructional design team, learning the principles of instructional design for various programs in the College of Health Professions. This position offers flexible hours, remote supervision, and the opportunity to enhance technical skills while contributing to the educational mission of our institution.Entity

Course Content Migration
Migrate course content in Brightspace, including text, graphics, layout, and instructional activities.
Ensure all content is accurately transferred and formatted under the direct supervision of the Director of Education and IT.

Coordination and Communication
Coordinate the migration processes with faculty and the instructional design team.
Communicate effectively through email to ensure smooth transitions and address any issues that arise.

Learning and Development
Apply introductory principles of instructional design for multiple programs in the College of Health Professions.
Gain insights from faculty experts and receive support from education technology specialists to advance quality matters principals as part of course migration

As Needed Program Support
In collaboration with the Director of Education and IT, complete other duties and tasks as needed to execute the migration plan for Fall 2025.
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Candidate is required to have at least an associate’s degree and two years of work experience in any administrative or education field. Candidate must be a currently enrolled MUSC College of Health Professions student and available to work during the summer semester. Candidates must also have an interest in advancing instructional design and curriculum development principles.
Preferred Experience & Additional Skills: A successful candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills. Need to work independently with clear communication processes to ensure efficient collaboration.
Compensation $15.00/hr
