Job Description Summary

Assists Technologist and department by performing a variety of clerical and patient care activities. Receives and transports patients, and answers questions regarding procedures. Preparation of imaging rooms, stocking of supplies, and assisting Technologist with procedures as needed.

Job Description

Shift: Tuesday-Friday 12pm-830pm

Apprenticeship Radiology Aides will perform a variety of clerical and patient care activities within the Radiology Department. Duties include but are not limited to patient transport, answering phone calls, exam room and patient preparation, stocking of supplies and assisting Technologist.

Requirements (Education, Work Experience, Licensure, Registry &/or Certifications)

Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED

Must be on the Trident Technical College waiting list for the Radiologic Technology Program or enrolled in the TTC Radiology Program as a 1st year student.

BLS certification is required.
