Job Description
The Facilities Technical Contract Manager (TCM) will oversee maintenance and support contracts for the Facilities Engineering Operations and Maintenance teams at MUSC University and MUHA in Charleston. They will manage a portfolio of 30+ agreements worth over $10M annually, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and financial goals. The role involves coordinating with vendors, contractors, and trades personnel, as well as providing technical guidance to Regional Health Networks. Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably with a technical or engineering focus.
- Experience: 0-5 years in facilities maintenance.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent Activities: Walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, crawling, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), carrying, and repetitive hand movements.
- Continuous Activities: Standing, sitting, using hands/arms, and maintaining sensory functions.
- Infrequent Activities: Working from elevated or confined spaces, pinching, or reaching in all directions.
This position requires the ability to work in various environments, including indoor, outdoor, mechanical, and rooftop locations, and may involve working in extreme weather or temperatures.
