Job Description
The Control Systems Technician is responsible for daily monitoring, maintenance, adjustments, and repairs to the building automation control systems owned or leased by the Medical University of South Carolina to ensure safety, environmental control, and efficiency of building systems. These control systems include, but are not limited to, HVAC equipment, Medical Gas, Fire and Smoke Control and Electrical Distribution systems. The successful candidate will be required to work in an office and field setting to complete repairs, adjustments, and testing control systems as they interface with various equipment. This position requires travel between various MUSC-Health operated sites daily. The position will also be responsible for occasional after hours on-call duties, as assigned. This position can be Considered Essential Personnel in a disaster.
