Job Description Summary
The Application Analyst I, supports the MUSC’s academic, research and healthcare missions. Under direct supervision, the Application Analyst II provides a variety of operational, consultative and collaborative functions within the Corporate Payroll Systems. This position researches, analyzes, and designs time tracking, absence, and clinical scheduling applications to meet the needs of an organization and integrate with existing and future systems. Performs system administrative tasks for the UKG Dimensions time tracking and AMN Smart Square clinical scheduling systems. Develops documentation and other aids for users to assist with installation, maintenance and operating procedures.Entity

Job Description
Ability to multitask, produce results and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and highly complex environment. Strong analytic, communication and teamwork skills. Solid working knowledge of payroll-related software (Kronos, SmartSquare or Workday is a plus), Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat; MS Access is a plus.
Job Duties:
- Provide Level 3 Support for Workday and Kronos Time Tracking and Absence as well as SmartSquare Clinical Scheduling for both MUHA and MCP entities through Service Now incidents
- Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures for the Corporate Payroll Systems team.
- Provide technical expertise to corporate payroll team members when an issue arises about Time and Absence.
- Collaborate with OurDay Sustainment Team members to update and test any new configurations.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and Education:
A high school diploma and four years directly related experience (payroll, time, and absence); or high school diploma and a professional IT certificate; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years related experience (payroll, time, and absence). Must possess good communication and customer service skills.
