The Post-Kidney Transplant Clinic in Rutledge Tower operates Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, no overnights, weekends, or holidays! Our staff includes RNs and RN coordinators who work together to provide consistent and cost-effective care to the transplant patients and families. Our 6 infusion chairs also allow our nurses to be trained in non-chemo infusions. We strive on our teamwork spirit!Entity

Job Description
The Transplant RN Coordinator reports to the Transplant Program Manager of the Transplant Center. Under general supervision, the Transplant RN Coordinator develops and uses advanced clinical management, consultation, education and research to promote quality care for the specific transplant patient populations. Provides growth in clinical knowledge through research-based practice with peers. This position is responsible for the ongoing training of new staff and keeping up to date with the regulatory changes in UNOS and CMS.
Additional Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in nursing required and three years related nursing experience. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Some positions require certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA). Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Some positions require certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA).
