Job Description Summary

The Facilities Contract Monitoring Officer (CMO) will provide direct implementation, performance monitoring, and technical oversight for all maintenance and support contracts for the Facilities Engineering Operations and Maintenance teams for the MUSC University and Medical University Health Authority (MUHA) activities within the Charleston region, provide technical guidance and oversight to the Regional Health Networks (RHN’s) Facility Engineering departments, and provide technical assistance to Enterprise Facilities Engineering departments when required.

The CMO will lead development of technical requirements for vendor support contracts and assist the Charleston Region Facilities Contract Manager in the collection of requirements for the solicitation of vendors to provide support activities to the various Facilities Engineering Operation Divisions. This individual reports to the Executive Director of Utilities and Energy and will coordinate a portfolio consisting of 30+ maintenance agreements totaling $5M+ annually, maintaining a high-quality standard and ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements while meeting the financial objectives of the Facilities Department.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
