Job Description Summary

The Clinical Virtual Patient Coordinator, LPN coordinates and delivers professional, clinical, quality, and educational services within the MUSC Strategy and Virtual Solutions team. This role reports to the Director of Strategy and Virtual Solutions, with oversight by the Executive Medical Director. The Clinical Virtual Patient Coordinator, LPN, works to develop and ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and success of virtual care programs. This position provides expertise of clinical input and supervision during the strategy and design phases of Telehealth Service Development initiatives. This role ensures successful transition of the clinical components of new services as they enter into the implementation phase of operations. This role is responsible for communicating follow-up clinical results and related health education to patients, providers, and practices. This position also processes patient referrals as requested.

Additional Job Description

Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program. Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
