Job Description
The Inpatient EEG Unit Leader reports to the Inpatient EEG Coordinator. Under limited supervision, the Inpatient EEG Unit Leader supports the Clinical Neurophysiology Services department, ICCE and Medical Center goals. Goals include achievement of clinical and quality measures, operational efficiency, financial targets as well as population/age specific needs of the department.
Additional Job Description
Requirements: Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology or the equivalent and registered as an EEG Technician by ABRET required and must be maintained. Three years of EEG Technician work experience required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
