Job Description

Reporting to Payroll Manager/Director, the Payroll Analyst is responsible for, but not limited to the following: Perform analysis of existing business process design to identify and evaluate possible re-configuration/solutions in response to business issues and challenges.
Collaborate with internal resources and third-party vendors on integrations related to Payroll functioning. Assess and resolve payroll-related requests within established guidelines.
Serves as a payroll liaison when working with cross-functional business teams to translate complex business needs to effective design recommendations, system analysis, system configuration, and lead testing & deployment activities. Works with other functional and technical resources to ensure that payroll standards and established processes are adhered to throughout the year. Supports payroll and time tracking audits from an application data perspective and perform risk assessment including identification, mitigation, and documentation. Recommend best practices and provide sound solutions to support payroll related business processes. Document business requirements, functional and technical specifications Responsible for communicating technical and payroll-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical teams. Present expert level knowledge of Payroll system and processing and work diligently to overcome foreseeable challenges, staying up to date on any system updates and changes. Demonstrate strong understanding of Payroll and data privacy standards. Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary. Demonstrates a solid and comprehensive knowledge of payroll principles and practices or possesses strong desire to learn payroll practices and law.
