Job Description Summary
This is a competitive paid internship position is well suited for those with an interest in clinical research administration and/or healthcare. The person in this role will work with the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office healthcare professionals and education staff on either clinical operations or administrative operation projects. database management, and compliance reporting. Successful candidates must be personable, detail oriented, and have strong verbal and written communication skills as they will be communicating regularly with internal and external stakeholders. Successful candidates must have the proficiency with MSWord, MSExcel, MS PowerPoint MSTeams, Adobe Acrobat. This position will be on site in the HCC CTO to start with the possibility of remote work after the training period.Entity

• 25% Research chart creation, researching survival status of patients, obtaining source documents, prepping study specimen kits, specimen handling and shipment
• 25% Completion of clinical research online modules and credentialing and data entry training for long term follow-up patients upon addition to the study team.
• 25% Supports the CTO Clinical Activities Director or unit managers in data entry, review and reporting for purposes of quality assurance activities. May support project meeting administrative activities.
• 25% Supports new projects and participates in educational events and opportunities related to clinical research administration.
