Job Description Summary

This program coordinator provides coordination services for the Telemental health Outreach Program (TOP) to include assessment of referrals and assignment of , monitoring of data, completion of progress reports, consultation with schools and other sites regarding telehealth equipment, and other administrative duties.

Job Description

FLSA: Hourly

Work Schedule: M-F, Hours to be determined upon hire

Job Duties:

  • 20% - Coordinates school-based telehealth service delivery processes for the TOP program, including managing workflows, overseeing equipment tracking and management, and ensuring that patient scheduling and arrival procedures and EMR documentation protocols are followed.
  • 15% - Maintains and updates data projects and referral and waitlists for clinical services in the TOP program, manages clinician tracking databases, and compiles statistics for progress reports.
  • 15% - Completes phone assessments for referrals for psychological evaluations, including assessment of reason for referral, presenting symptoms, and mental health history. Collaborates with team to assist patients in accessing services. Provides referrals for patients that do not meet criteria for program.
  • 10% - Responds to requests for information from schools and other community partners and facilitates relationships with schools.
  • 10% - Procures consent paperwork from patients, manages schedules with schools, and assists clinicians in gathering supplemental information (communication with outside agencies and other providers).
  • 10% - Coordinates tele-sites across the state for the TOP program, including bringing equipment to sites, demonstrating use of equipment, and assisting in equipment troubleshooting.
  • 10% - Provides direction and guidance to TOP staff regarding program issues, including protocols, procedures, communication with schools, and other issues.
  • 5% - Coordinates scheduling initial evaluations for clinicians.
  • 5% - Other duties as assigned.

MUSC Minimum Training and Experience Requirements: A bachelor's degree and one year relevant program experience.
