Job Description Summary
The Information and Transport Services Representative reports to the Patient Transport Coordinator. Under general supervision, the Information and Transport Services Representative assists internal and external customers by providing information and directions in a prompt, professional and customer focused manner. This role coordinates the transportation of patients, laboratory specimens, medications and other ancillary items utilizing the online Allscripts patient transport system.Job Description
Responds to customer inquiries by telephone, e-mail, or chat to provide non-technical problem resolution. Resolves mostly routine and some non-routine, more complex problems and communicates solutions or requested information to the customer. Analyzes a customer's service needs and refers to other service or technical departments for follow up as needed. Uses a customer relationship application or database to record activities and research product information.Additional Job Description
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of one year customer service work experience required. Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment also required.
