Job Description: The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a board certified/board eligible, fellowship-trained Body Imaging Radiologist to join them as an Assistant or Associate Professor in a dynamic clinician-educator role with a tenure track. The ideal candidate will have a desire to participate in the academic activities of the division, and will lead didactic teaching sessions for residents and medical students as needed. Clinical practice located on MUSC’s main campus in downtown Charleston, SC 4-6 weekend shifts per year Candidates should be well versed in all aspects of Abdominal Imaging, including: radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, US MUSC’s Hollings Cancer Center is an NCI Designated Cancer Center and recipient of the ACR’s Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence accreditation We will provide: Excellent clinical, research and teaching opportunities Faculty position with tenure track Access to state-of-the-art equipment, including: dual source CT, both 1.5T and 3T MR, ultrasound, and PET-CT Relocation assistance Excellent retirement options including a pension and optional tax deferred contributions Sovereign immunity malpractice coverage Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program Qualified Employer

Minimum Requirements:

M.D. or equivalent

Additional Requirements:

Successful candidates for this position must hold an MD or equivalent degree with completion of Abdominal Radiology fellowship training. Candidates must also be board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology. Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of South Carolina is also required.
