This class is typically used for employees who are capable of performing the full range of professional duties in their assigned program area. Some employees serve as first-line supervisors in the less technical or specialized service delivery areas. Provides assistance in the establishment of new programs or the modification of existing programs. Conducts surveys and studies of problems and needs; makes recommendations to appropriate officials. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the status of assigned program area(s). Reviews, evaluates and reports on assigned program area(s). Provides technical assistance and training to staff, management, the public and other governmental entities regarding assigned program area(s). Plans, supervises and participates in agency programs. Reviews the workload and operating procedures of a designated program area; determines priorities and makes staff assignments to control the workload.Additional Job Description
Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
