Job Description Summary
The Project Manager for Risk Management and Patient Safety reports to the Risk Director for MUSC Health. Under minimal supervision, the Project Manager for Risk Management and Patient Safety oversees operations improving the learning culture of the organization via the implementation of data-driven projects for the MUSC Health Enterprise. The Project Manager partners with stakeholders throughout MUSC Health to decrease patient harm and improve patient safety by coordinating the Adverse Event Review and IMRPOVE process through the system.Entity

Job Description
Outlines and implements training programs to educate and inform workforce on work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention regulations and procedures. Develops and distributes educational materials including videos, guides, and posters. Tracks and documents accidents to understand causes and recommend changes to prevent future accidents. Performs inspections and audits of facilities, equipment and processes recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations. Has a broad and current knowledge of all government and applicable industry safety regulations.Additional Job Description
