Job Description

This individual will work with the Hollings Director and team to achieve the NCI comprehensive status during the 2028 review cycle. The individual will have a lead administrative role in the Medical University Health Systems Oncology Integrated Center of Excellence (ICCE) as the Director of Strategic Growth and Clinical Research and will serve at the pleasure of CEO of the MUSC Health, Charleston Division. The primary administrative responsibility within the Department of Surgery will be as Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs. In this position the individual will serve at the pleasure of the Chair of the Department and will be responsible for the strategic planning and development of the clinical staff. Work will primarily be focused in the Divisions of Oncology, Metabolic and Foregut and Colorectal Surgery but will also include other divisions as initiatives and their expertise warrant.

Minimum Requirements: MD or MD Equivalent.
