Job Description Summary

Under the supervision of the Central Verification Unit Operations Coordinator or Revenue Cycle Project Manager, the Central Verification Representative facilitates accurate and timely completion/resolution of eligibility activities within Epic. A Central Verification Unit Representative ensures patient insurance information is verified and entered appropriately into the EPIC system. This process promotes an “uneventful” and seamless arrival process. Additionally, a CVU representative's advanced knowledge of insurance and system logic aids in accurate and timely reimbursement of services.
