Salary Range: $31.25 -$34.62 per hour

MANDEX currently has a need for a Network Design Quality Assurance/ SME II to join our team in North Charleston, SC. As a Network Design Quality Assurance Analyst /SME II for MANDEX, you will play a crucial role in validating, documenting, and finalizing critical network infrastructures. In this role, you will collaborate directly with Defense Health Agency (DHA) engineers to ensure that LAN/WLAN designs are flawlessly executed, compatible, and compliant with established technical requirements.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Validate Network Designs: Review engineering plans to ensure multi-vendor equipment compatibility and confirm all technical benchmarks are met.
• Own the Documentation Lifecycle: Utilize Excel datasheets, drawings, and configuration files to build, modify, and finalize comprehensive site designs and project closeout packages.
• Support Survey Integration: Partner with senior engineers to assist in the documentation, design, and integration of LAN/WLAN site surveys.
• Manage Technical Documentation: Draft and update engineering change requests, cost-benefit analyses, and multi-vendor technical comparison data.
• Facilitate Team Alignment: Actively participate in engineering alignment meetings to track project progress and technical roadblocks.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience:

• Three (3) years’ practical experience in Network Design Quality Assurance
• Network Familiarity: Basic understanding of network design, planning, terminology, fiber types, and physical connectors.
• Config File Literacy: Ability to read and interpret switch configuration files from at least one major manufacturer (Cisco, Juniper, Ruckus, or HPE/Aruba).
• Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience using MS Office (especially Excel) and Microsoft Visio to map network layouts.
• Collaborative Execution: Proven track record of managing tasks independently while seamlessly collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED.

Training:

• Technical training in networking, or equivalent hands-on experience in a professional network environment.

Security:

• This position requires favorable background check and drug screening results and may require the ability to receive and maintain a government security clearance (Secret).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CaC).
