Media Specialist, Paid Search

Position Summary: Media Specialists, Paid Search, are junior paid search professionals who excel at utilizing data to optimize paid search campaigns while also understanding the ever-changing digital behavior of today’s consumer. This role is hands-on in the search platforms, supporting numerous enterprise level paid search campaigns, being managed at global levels.
Minimum Skills & Requirements:
- What You Bring:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, media or a related field.
- Two to three (2-3) years of experience working on search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns.
- A strong working knowledge of Google AdWords and Bing Ads.
- The ability to analyze data and information and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Experience in business analytics – web analytics or otherwise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborating on SEM campaign development and implementation.
- Coordinating, executing and analyzing paid search campaigns on Google and Bing.
- Maintaining an understanding of fundamental digital marketing metrics and how they interact and influence one another.
- Obtaining and maintaining relevant in-platform certifications.
- Remaining current with knowledge of client KPIs and general business information.
- Working with Strategists to ensure client campaigns goals/objectives are achieved.
- Taking ownership of the following organization optimization and reporting processes:
- Work across Excel, web interfaces, desktop editors, and ad servers to optimize digital marketing campaigns.
- Keyword expansion/research, including negative keyword generation.
- Evaluating search keywords / ad copy for relevancy to landing pages.
- Developing RSA copy for clients’ search campaigns.
- Generating regular reports and optimization recommendations.
