As a Regional Operational Key Account Manager (OKAM), you will serve as a strategic liaison between Kuehne+Nagel and key customers, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction through customized logistics solutions. This role is responsible for managing import and export processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting new business implementations, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and international trade regulations. By coordinating cross-functional teams and leveraging data-driven insights, the OKAM plays a critical role in optimizing performance, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

How you create impact

  • Serving as the main operational point of contact, understanding client needs, and ensuring satisfaction across international markets.
  • Manage import and export operations by coordinating with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and optimize logistics processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities, analyzing performance data, and implementing operational enhancements in collaboration with business units.
  • Support new business implementations by facilitating onboarding processes, setting up customer profiles in KN systems, and ensuring smooth integration of EDI and SOP protocols.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs by developing performance reports, conducting root cause analysis of service failures, and presenting insights during customer business reviews at regional and global levels.

What we would like you to bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or transportation.
  • College degree in Logistics, Management, Administration or a related fields.
  • Advanced English proficiency – both written and verbal, essential for international communication.
