Are you an experienced WMS professional ready to take the next step in your career? At Kuehne+Nagel, we are looking for a Senior Application Expert to strengthen our global IT team. In this role, you’ll use your Blue Yonder WMS expertise to ensure smooth system operations, contribute to solution delivery, and mentor colleagues. A challenging position with impact on complex logistics projects in a dynamic, international environment.
As a Senior Application Expert working with Solution Architects and functional teams you will ensure the smooth and efficient systems operations that fulfil the needs of the customer. Utilising your WMS knowledge and experience you contribute to solution delivery across the project lifecycle.
How you create impact
Resolve incidents related to design, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the Blue Yonder WMS.
Maintain and develop MOCA/SQL commands.
Create and update manuals and documentation for end users.
Debug and resolve issues (performance and bugs) using trace files.
Develop utilities, procedures, and documentation based on operational requirements.
Manage application release and version control.
Mentor and train colleagues.
What we would like you to bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong domain knowledge of WMS solutions.
Hands-on experience with JDA WMS / Discrete (must-have).
Proficiency with Blue Yonder technology stack: MOCA, MTF, DDA/Pagebuilder, Reports & Labels, WebUI, Integrator.
Background in software house, consultancy, or project delivery.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve complex technical/functional issues.
Experience in translating complex requirements into practical solutions.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
