Overview
Our direction for 2025 is continuous growth and strategic expansion. That is why we are happy to share that we are looking for an National Sea Logistics ISC Development Manager at Kuehne+Nagel who would be the driving force behind seamless logistics operations! You will lead our International Supply Chain team, enabling our customers to optimize their supply chains through order management + sea transportation management solutions.

What we would like you to bring

  • Your primary objective is to execute the business strategy by minimizing operational risk + operating costs whilst optimizing service delivery + profit.
  • To build, empower + inspire a high performing + engaged team of International Supply Chain professionals
  • Ensure the organization is resourced, trained, enabled + incentivized to attract, pursue, close, onboard, deliver, review, evolve + retain profitable business
  • Create the national International Supply Chain business plan + implement key initiatives to structurally improve service quality, data integrity, customer retention, operational production unit cost, growth + profitability 
  • Continuously improve our product definition, value proposition, pricing, infrastructure + go-to-market strategy
  • Actively participate in RFQ’s + customer engagements
  • Successfully implement new business using the Global Customer Implementation Methodology (GCIM).
  • Monitor financial performance of existing accounts + systemically optimize gross profit through cross selling, upselling, value engineering + total pricing
  • Continuously measure, drive + improve performance of service delivery against Service Level Agreements + internal data quality + timeliness targets

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years in international supply chain management, logistics, or business development
  • Proven success in leading cross-border supply chain projects and customer implementations
  • Ability to develop and execute national supply chain strategies
  • Skilled in order management, sea freight coordination, and cost optimization
  • Experience in RFQ participation, value engineering, and total pricing models
  • Capable of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across global, regional, and country-level functions
  • Proficient in data analysis, financial performance monitoring, and market intelligence
  • Strong understanding of service level agreements (SLAs) and operational KPIs
  • Familiarity with supply chain software, CRM systems, and data visualization tools
  • Comfortable working with digital platforms to enhance service delivery
  • Solid grasp of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and logistics governance
