Career Opportunity:

As Laboratory Technical Services Support, you will serve as an integral part of the Pavement Technologies team providing support to our internal customers. Primary responsibilities will include analysis of aggregate and asphalt samples, production and testing of asphalt emulsions, and evaluation of asphalt mixtures. We’re looking for a high-energy individual with the qualifications listed below.

How you will impact Ingevity:

  • Obtain accurate test results that will influence technical solutions from concept to customer acceptance.
  • Ensure that testing is completed according to established ISSA, ASTM, and AASHTO standards.
  • Effectively communicate with team members to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Work as part of a dynamic team utilizing the members’ individual strengths to share laboratory responsibilities and to maximize results.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or other science-related discipline is preferred
  • Hands-on industry or academic lab experience preferred
  • Intuitive problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strength to safely handle 50 lb. buckets of materials
  • Team player mentality and the flexibility to adapt to ever-changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
