Job Summary:
Responsibility for overseeing and coordinating the operational execution of shipping, receiving, warehousing and product supply activities in a safe and efficient manner per defined processes. Furthermore, responsible for assuring the safe, accurate and timely execution of the Logistics Operations processes and serve as the first escalation point for team members and internal customers when issues present themselves.

- Continuously demonstrated Level I & II and III – Warehouse Operator functions and skills
- Leads IFA safety activities by example
- Communicates and escalates information related to safety, quality, production and Logistics to Logistics Operations Shift Supervisor and incoming and out-going shift supervisor
- Maintaining organization and housekeeping according to 5S standards to ensure a safe operating environment
- Coordinates the execution of all activities in shipping, receiving, picking and line side delivery to ensure production and internal goals are achieved
- Interfaces with internal customers to achieve both departmental and company goals and objectives
- Proficient use in the relevant SAP modules and functions for receiving, shipping and product supply and inventory control (Warehouse/Inventory/Materials/Handling Unit Management; Sales and Distribution)
- Meets departmental goals by coordinating and executing transactions based on Standard Work to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and on time delivery performance within the warehouse and line side supermarkets
- Coordinates that all customer orders are loaded, shipped and delivered in accordance with customer specifications
- Coordinates that all products and finished goods racks are loaded safely and securely on all outbound trucks
- Ensures that the processing of shipping notices (ASN) within the customer defined required timeframe of product shipment are adhered to and achieved
- Receives raw materials in an accurate and timely manner per Standard Work against purchase orders and schedule agreements from vendors and suppliers and unloads/loads the truckloads safely
- Works toward the continuous improvement of processes to include recommending measures to improve working conditions, increased efficiencies, quality, processes, or associated performance standards
- Supports lean manufacturing practices such as 5S, Kanban, visual management, 1-piece flow, etc.
- Complies to all IATF 16949, ISO 14001-2015 standards, and customer requirements
- Complies with and carries out organizational policies and procedures
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Specific Skills:
- Working knowledge of IATF16949
- Trained and knowledgeable in site safety policies and procedures
- SAP
- Ability to work and oversee operations effectively within a team environment
- Ability to read and write English
- Understands the consequences of non-process adherence
- Must be able to work any shift as required including overtime as needed
- Basic Microsoft Outlook experience
- Prioritization and sense of urgency
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Must be able to walk/move about a 500,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility: 100% of the time
- Must be able to stand/walk/move about specific work area: 90% of the time
- Must be able to bend/reach/twist/stoop: 70% of the time
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on a frequent basis: 40% of the time
- Must be able to lift over 40lbs on an infrequent basis: 15% of the time
- Must be able to sit at a work station: 0% of the time
- Must be able to work and operate a computer terminal: 80% of the time
- Vision is required to analyze and process work; and to work on computer terminal/machine centers, etc.
- Hearing is essential for safety reasons; and to communicate with employees, supervisors, managers, vendors, suppliers and customers via conversation, group meetings, and/or phone conferences
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Must be able to work any shift as required including overtime as needed.

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years in logistics, supply chain, transportation management, or manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years of SAP operating system knowledge including basic troubleshooting ability
Preferred Education and Experience
- PIT certified and experience
