POSITION
Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for our Summerville location.
SCOPE OF POSITION
Drives and maintains plant quality program and compliance with quality and food safety standards.
Investigates internal and external customer complaints and facilitates the RCA process including follow up and auditing. Monitors trends and recommends corrective measures in conjunction with providing, or arranging, training on quality work instructions and procedures as well as auditing for effectiveness.
Provides leadership and direction to direct reports in his/her area of responsibility. Works with Production and Maintenance to assure quality product by implementing effective process control and sampling methods in conjunction with effective audit criteria.
FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Regular use of computers, telephones and other types of office equipment
- Must organize complex tasks and meet deadlines
- Face confrontational situations
- Available between all 3 shifts
- Speak to large groups
