POSITION

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Quality Technician for our Summerville, SC location.

SCOPE OF POSITION

Supports Quality and Food Safety functions for the facility, serving as a resource to production and leadership to ensure product quality and compliance standards are met. Responsible for monitoring and verifying product quality through testing, inspection, and documentation while supporting daily production operations. Assists in key areas including quality inspections, data collection, reporting, and adherence to quality standards and procedures. Ensures compliance with HACCP, GMPs, Work Instructions, and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements, while supporting continuous improvement efforts related to product quality and process performance. Operates with a high level of attention to detail and accountability, with the ability to identify issues and communicate findings to support operational success.
