TUBER OPERATOR

Responsibilities:

• Completes required paperwork as needed accurately and timely.
• Responsible for pre-setup and materials necessary to start an order.
• Directs the work and training needs of the crew in a safe manner.
• Responsible to assure oncoming shift has been communicated to and advised of all pertinent information regarding the machine, orders and status of equipment and personnel.
• Must know, follow, and demonstrate compliance with all safety rules and understand working safely is a condition of employment.
• This position can make suggestions for additional training for others to the Supervisor.
• Assist in assuring HACCP, GMP’s, Work Instructions, and Food Safety Quality system requirements (SQF) are in compliance.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate or GED at time of application
• Must pass Hood Packaging Lift Truck written and driving test to receive license.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk on hard surfaces.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds or more throughout the shift.
• Ability to work all shifts including 12-hour shifts/7-day rotating shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
• Ability to work in hot/cold environments.
• Ability to use hands, arms and legs to operator equipment and perform job duties.
