Position Summary

The Network Facilities Specialist I is a critical-infrastructure role accountable for protecting service continuity across the core network. This position supports the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of essential network facilities and transport connectivity, including core network systems, cell tower connectivity, and special circuits. The Specialist I is expected to operate with precision, urgency, and disciplined documentation, while adhering to strict safety practices that safeguard people, equipment, and uptime. Primary responsibilities include structured cabling and connectivity work, support of special circuit turn-ups and repairs, and routine DC power tasks for central office and field equipment, with timely escalation to senior technicians and engineering when conditions exceed approved scope or risk tolerance.
