JOB SUMMARY
A Warehouse Inventory Technician is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and storing products and materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of a warehouse, including tasks like loading/unloading trucks, operating equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify the accuracy and quality of incoming shipments, ensuring they match orders and are free from damage.
- Efficiently organize and store materials within the warehouse, ensuring optimal storage practices and easy access.
- Load and unload trucks, using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and assist in conducting inventory audits.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, shipments, and other relevant data.
- Identify and resolve issues related to inventory, shipping, and receiving operations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse operations and workflows.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
