JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVES

Must be detail-oriented and able to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, taking the lead in audit preparations, and communicating with external auditors. Performs all functions of payroll. Responsible for the preparation of federal, state, and local taxes and fees, and information reporting. Manages and tracks cash and investments. Provides direction and supervision for accounting staff and assists in their professional development. Performs other accounting duties as assigned. Must have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), strong financial analysis skills, and be a proven leader. Strong Excel skills, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little or no supervision, as well as perform under pressure.
