Job Summary and Objective
Meets and exceeds customer needs in a friendly and informative manner. Carries out company strategies to maximize sales of Home Telecom products and services. Responds to customer inquiries regarding the selection and availability of services. Processes service orders to fulfill customer requests. Resolves customer issues. A CRS I is required to shadow Outside Plant I/R Technicians, Sales Reps, and any other departments as required by management. Issues and receives equipment necessary for all Home Telecom services. Responsible for entering orders for the Residential Sales team and other departments. Receives cash, checks, and other tenders from customers in payment of bills and purchases, across the counter, 24-hour night deposit, and through debit and credit card payments by telephone. Posts payments to customer accounts as received and issues receipts. Balances receivables for bank deposits and prepares daily cash summary sheets as needed for location requirements. Scheduling and logging trouble tickets. Promote a positive image of Home Telecom.
Duties or Activities Required by Job (In Order of Importance)
Taking applications for new services with an emphasis on maximizing the sale of all Home Telecom products and services, including telephone, cable, internet, security, and wireless. Assisting customers with changes to existing services with priority on the up-selling of Home Telecom products. Answering customer inquiries regarding monthly statements and assisting customers with payment arrangements.
Performing cashiering duties, accepting payments, and reconciling cash drawers.
Other duties as directed by management.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Related Experience: Two (2) years of experience
