JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role coaches and partners with leaders of the various Corporate functions to support the delivery of the business plan by focusing on team member performance, talent management, organizational effectiveness and culture. The HRBP will work across all levels of the organization and serve as a trusted partner to managers and leaders by providing expert guidance regarding all aspects of human resources. This role will support a suite of functions including but not limited to the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of the Chief Legal Officer, People & Culture and Technology.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provide advice, guidance and coaching to managers and leaders on the key areas of HR.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and business leaders across the organization.
  • Deliver key people initiatives and change programs by engaging business stakeholders and partnering with the broader People & Culture team.
  • Support the organizations in diversity, equality and inclusion initiatives
  • Monitor and coordinate employee relations cases, performance issues, and EEO matters with leaders, ensuring resolution is achieved in an effective and timely manner.
  • Support the effective management of change across the business; leading strategies that drive high levels of commitment to achieving agreed outcomes.
  • Support Talent Acquisition processes as required.
  • Support the development and deployment of training and education programs as appropriate.
  • Assist in the corporate merger and acquisition process, participating in due diligence activities and onboarding as necessary.
  • Develop and report on key HR metrics to enable the identification of trends and the continuous improvement of people management activities, including employee engagement.
  • Provide support to leaders and manage the annual performance and compensation review process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR functions such as Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, Payroll and Talent Acquisitions.
  • Provide policy and procedure guidance for leaders and team members on HR issues and advise on the appropriate course of action.
  • Leading on and representing the supported functions in People & Culture projects.
  • Provide expert guidance regarding the interpretation of federal, state and local laws pertaining to HR. Assist in responding to EEOC and DOL charges and other related issues.
  • Maintain familiarity with all benefits programs to accurately communicate and provide resolution to team member issues and questions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within real estate, finance, legal or technology.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of the real estate industry and workforce dynamics.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale people strategies, organizational change, and business transformation.
  • Experience in talent development, succession planning, and workforce optimization in a multi-location environment.
  • Expertise in employee relations, culture development, and performance management at a senior level.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and drive insights for decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, compliance requirements, and employment regulations across multiple states.
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
