JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager of Accounting to oversee our employee compensation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific experience in managing payroll, benefits, and other compensation-related activities. This role requires excellent analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead the development of compensation budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support senior management in decision making
· Analyze compensation data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
· Oversee compensation information for each department, manage expense allocations, and prepare/review standard monthly journal entries
· Implement, administer and maintain compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and benefits packages.
· Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of payroll and compensation data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
· Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to align compensation strategies with organizational goals.
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation-related activities.
· Other projects, as assigned.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on compensation.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Additional Compensation:
- Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
- Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
