Job Summary:

Freeman Boatworks, LL, an industry-leading boat manufacturer, is seeking a talented Upholstery Assembler. This role involves assembling and finishing upholstered pieces for marine interiors, including covering, stapling, and assembly of plastic and foam components. The ideal candidate will have experience in marine or automotive seating assembly and be proficient with hand tools.

Responsibilities:

• Covering, stapling, and assembling upholstered pieces for marine interiors
• Reading and understanding blueprints and work instructions
• Maintaining a fast-paced manufacturing line to ensure timely production
• Working effectively both in a team environment and individually
• Meeting daily production requirements
• Keeping the work area and equipment clean and organized
• Adhering to safety regulations, housekeeping guidelines, and maintenance procedures

Qualifications:

• Some experience in marine or automotive assembly is required; training is available
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency with hand tools
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to stand and bend for extended periods

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and bend as needed for the job
