Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced individual with expertise in fiberglass repair and gelcoat finishing to join our Service and Warranty team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in handling service and warranty-related tasks, with the flexibility to contribute to the production side during periods of lower workload.
1. Perform fiberglass repair and gelcoat finishing to meet quality standards.
2. Address service and warranty requests efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Collaborate with the production team during peak times or when service workload is low.
4. Travel on occasion to handle service and warranty tasks both in-house and on the road.
5. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and warranty claims.
6. Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to provide updates on service-related matters.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in fiberglass repair and gelcoat finishing.
2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Willingness to travel as needed to fulfill service and warranty obligations.
5. Flexibility to transition between service and production tasks based on workload.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands:
· Bending, kneeling (squatting), lifting, and twisting continuously throughout the day.
· Being able to stand/walk for up to or if not longer 8 hours each day.
· Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs, traveling up and down stairs on a constant basis.
· Vision protection and closed-toed shoes are required. Hearing protection may be required.
