ECS is seeking a Data Governance Data Analyst to work remote.

Job Description:

This position requires end to end data governance analysis and management skills. These include but are not limited to supporting implementation of Data Governance Architecture, preform data quality and analysis assessments, work on Master Data Management programs, and support data privacy and security governance processes. This position documents and defines best practices, leads adoption processes, research emerging best practices and implement Data Governance Strategies. The ideal candidate will provide support level specialized support for Data Governance related issues and concerns. They will also have the ability to implement processes, effect re-engineering, handle change management, handle continuous process improvement, and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Gathers functional and technical requirements for Data Governance projects.
• Creates and maintain process flows, policies, and procedures.
• Performs data analysis, data profiling, and data quality assessments.
• Identify and document data retention, data privacy, data security, and data access requirements.
• Implementation and maintenance of governance strategies
• Identify and document Critical Data Elements (CDE) for Golden Records
• Define Match and Merge and Trust rules for Master Data Management
• Apply standardization and normalization policies across enterprise data assets.
• Triage and investigate user inquiries for dataset availability.
• Query and analyze data to identify business insights.
• Define approaches to improve data quality, such as data validation, cleansing, and profiling.
• Ensuring data privacy and security by implementing measures and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations
• Defining KPI/Metrics and indicators
• Ensuring adoption of required policies and standards across the enterprise
• Ensuring issues raised by business and functional data governance leaders are resolved

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

• US Citizen or Green Card holder and must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Must have 1+ years' experience in working as Data Analyst or Business Analyst in implementing Data Governance projects.
