Mammography Tech Full Time Days Position Summary
Performs all mammogram procedures offered by the hospital. Assists with breast localization procedures. Provides in-service for co-workers in area of expertise. Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
THE MAMMOGRAPHY TECH FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education/Other Qualifications
· Must be a graduate of an AMA approved program in radiologic technology.
· Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or if newly registry-eligible with (ARRT) shall obtain registry within 90 days of hire
· The position involves moving equipment and patients.
· Position requires good communication with patients, physicians, co-workers and the public.
· Independent decisions as how to provide optimally diagnostic studies is required.
· The person should have mechanical ability and good mobility.
· Must have current BLS certification
