We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer-Associate to join our Summerville, SC location.
Your Responsibilities:
Under close supervision, assist with various routine analyses, design and/or assembly related to manufacturing projects. Assist with development, implementation and methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

Salary: $67,400-$82,400

Your Challenge:
- Establishes Manufacturing process flow and work instruction. Create and update manufacturing standard procedure, which defines specific manufacturing processes.
- May perform routine operational or methods analysis related to labor standards and reviews product/project flow data, equipment and labor requirements for use in conducting manufacturing operations, increasing productivity and reducing production unit cost
- Assist in the evaluation of engineering changes and/or other specifications requirements and performs as technical liaison with other engineering personnel such as program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production.
- May interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products and conduct review of engineering drawings prior to release.
- Management of CNC program files for revision control and security per internal procedures; program machine tools utilizing 3D models and CNC languages; perform 1st time program prove outs
- Understand and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing concepts.
- Provide Shop support for assigned projects; and training and mentoring of shop personnel.
- Identify new and/or improved processes for reducing rework, cycle-time, and costs for assigned projects
- Participate in Kaizen Events, Process Mapping and Project Readiness reviews
- Ability to apply software specific to role such as: MS office, Team Center, Oracle and CAD (NX preferred)
- Develop quotations for assigned product(s)
What you Bring:
- Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial engineering or equivalent, preferably with at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with manufacturing processes, such as machining, CNC machining, welding, or assembly
- Experience with design tooling and fixtures for manufacturing parts/assemblies
- Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, CAD experiences especially 3D solid models
- Excellent communication skills
- Professionalism and commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous improvement
- Ability to tolerate and drive change
- Attention to detail
