The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Machinists to set up, operate, and maintain horizontal CNC lathes. You will be responsible for producing precision components while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
*Opportunities on all 3 shifts!
Your Challenge:
Set up and operate horizontal CNC lathes (DMG, Mazak, and Doosan models) performing precision machining to tolerances within 0.001”
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
Load materials and set tooling per job specifications
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain tolerances
Perform routine maintenance on machines
Conduct in-process inspection using precision measuring tools
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Work collaboratively with engineers and quality control team
Your Expertise:
3+ years of experience operating horizontal CNC lathes
Proficiency with DMG, Mazak, and/or Doosan controls (e.g., Fanuc, Mazatrol)
Strong understanding of G-code and M-code
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Experience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Experience in a high-precision, low-volume production environment
Basic programming/editing skills
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards
Must be a Sole US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
