Under general direction, plans, schedules, coordinates materials and job prerequisites. Develop and maintain the material and production plans utilizing an Enterprise Resource Planning system. Reviews the manufacturing prerequisites, to ensure seamless execution of work in manufacturing operations.

Your Challenge:

  • This role is critical to supporting and driving the success of the Production Control Center

  • Develops, maintains production plan and data utilizing the ERP system. Interact with the Manufacturing Supervisors and Master Scheduler to ensure appropriate actions are taken.

  • Monitor material non-conformance and take actions to adjust plan accordingly.

  • Monitor the pre-requisites to ensure timely completion to support the manufacturing plan. Participate and provide required information for project team readiness reviews.

  • Work in cooperation with Manufacturing Planners, Manufacturing Supervisors, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering and Quality for work in process to resolve issues and maintain product flow on assigned projects.

  • Provides input to management regarding problems such as scheduling problems, material shortages, design changes and backlogs.

  • Maintains Visual Management KPIs in Manufacturing areas.

Your Expertise:

  • Associate degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial engineering preferably with at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent of >2 years of experience in a similar Manufacturing Engineering Specialist position

  • Experience with manufacturing processes, such as machining, welding, and/or assembly

  • Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, CAD, ERP System

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Professionalism and commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous improvement

  • Ability to tolerate and drive change.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Must be a sole US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
